Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone - hope you didn't eat TOO MUCH turkey!
The hike on November 22 was COLD but fun. In the 3.2 miles we hiked, the boys saw a lot of neat things including fox scat, an owl, a great blue heron, deer hoof prints, and tons of fresh beaver gnaws! The boys worked on their Clean Sweep patch and cleaned up litter on the trail and in the woods - GOOD JOB GUYS! And everyone wanted to hold CM Al's really awesome walking stick. Remember - scouts can earn a stick after hiking 50 miles!
